Notice to Point Cloud Users

The Leica team is proud to announce the 2023.1 release of Cyclone Reg360+! This release includes many exciting new features, including the introduction of LGSx. This new point cloud data format will allow for faster publishing times and higher compression for smaller file sizes. The new LGSx file format is a drop-in replacement for LGS, and as a result, Reg360 will no longer be publishing LGS files.

Although the latest version of Map360 does not support LGSx files, a hotfix release of Map360 2024 will be available in early 2024 to support both LGS and LGSx data formats. In the meantime, it is recommended that Map360 point cloud users wait to upgrade Reg360 until the Map360 2024 hotfix is available.
