The Leica team is proud to announce the 2023.1 release of Cyclone Reg360+! This release includes many exciting new features, including the introduction of LGSx. This new point cloud data format will allow for faster publishing times and higher compression for smaller file sizes. The new LGSx file format is a drop-in replacement for LGS, and as a result, Reg360 will no longer be publishing LGS files. Although the latest version of Map360 does not support LGSx files, a hotfix release of Map360 2024 will be available in early 2024 to support both LGS and LGSx data formats. In the meantime, it is recommended that Map360 point cloud users wait to upgrade Reg360 until the Map360 2024 hotfix is available. We thank you for your continued support.

Map360 2024.0 is a release that included performance improvements and a few new features, as well as updates for IntelliCAD 11.1 and the point cloud engine. Map360 2022.2 is a service pack release with improvements to the bullet path reconstruction feature with a dedicated ribbon that walks the user through the workflow. Once the trajectory cones are defined, the horizontal and vertical angles can be determined and displayed with the new analysis feature. A bullet path reconstruction report can be generated for the trajectories in the scene and the trajectory attachments will be included as embedded links. Map360 2022.1 is a service pack release with added support for COE compatibility . This allows entities in your diagram, such as the BodyPoser3D, Bullet Path Trajectories, or the Bloodstain Pattern analysis entities to be viewable in Leica TruView. The entities are imported at the correct scale and location. An additional ninety-five 3D vehicle models have also been added to the symbol librarian, with makes and models from various regions. Check out the list of included 3D models . Point cloud rendering has been improved, providing higher density of the critical evidence in the data. Users can now set an AutoMap file as the default for future imports. This functionality has been added to the Automap Library dialog. A number of critical defects have been fixed and additional enhancements have been made to existing workflows.
